First weekend out in Jackson!

Last weekend was my first real weekend out in Jackson and it could not have been better. Saturday morning Megan and I spent freaking out because we could not find anybody or any bar that had CBS East and was going to be showing the Georgia/Florida football game. Finally we found a local bar that was going to be showing the game. There ended up being about 30 or so Georgia fans at the bar which made watching the game really fun. Everytime Georgia had a good play the whole place went absolutely crazy. Of course it did help that the we actually won.......I would have given anything to be in Jacksonville for the game but Jackson was amazing as well.


After the game we took a quick nap and then quickly got ready for the biggest halloween party of the year and from what I had heard one of the biggest parties of the entire year in Jackson. We started off going to some girls house who were hosting a pre-party and watching the TN/SC game which ended up being a great game to watch as well. Afterwards we walked a couple blocks to Snowking, which is the smaller ski resort in Jackson), paid our $15 (yikes!!) and danced the night away with pretty much the entire town. There was not a single person at the party that was not dressed up and the winner of the costume contest won $1000.
